Málaga's most awarded sweet wine — and you can taste why. Zumbral is pure Moscatel de Alejandría from the Axarquía, hand-picked and then sun-dried on paseros for around 15 days until the grapes concentrate into something deep and intense.
It ages slowly: two years underground in stone vats, then three more in century-old American oak. Dark amber in the glass, with a powerful nose of dried fruit, raisins, toast and honey. Sweet on the palate — seriously sweet — but never heavy, thanks to an acidity that keeps the whole thing balanced and the finish long.
The classic Málaga dessert wine, done properly. Pour it with blue cheese, dark chocolate desserts, or simply as the last glass of the night.

Why sun-dried? Laying the grapes out in the sun (asoleo) concentrates their sugars before pressing — the traditional way Málaga has made its great sweet wines for centuries.
