Terms of Service

Welcome to The Wine Hustle. These terms apply to everything you buy from us and every visit to our online shop. By placing an order, you agree to them — so it's worth a read.

1. Who we are

Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Wine Hustle V.O.F.; "you" means the customer.

2. What we sell, and to whom

We sell Spanish wine and olive oil. Because we sell alcohol, you must be 18 years or older to order from us and to receive a delivery. By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18. We currently sell and deliver within the Netherlands only.

3. Prices

  • All prices are shown in euros (€) and include Dutch VAT (BTW).
  • Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout: €4,95 per order, free for orders over €75.
  • We take great care with our pricing, but if an obvious error occurs (a clear mistake in a price), we're not obliged to fulfil an order at the wrong price. If this happens, we'll contact you before shipping and you can confirm or cancel.

4. Your order

  • A binding agreement is formed once we confirm your order (usually by email), not simply when you click "buy".
  • All orders depend on availability. If a wine is unexpectedly out of stock, we'll let you know and refund that item in full.
  • We may decline or cancel an order — for example if we cannot verify you are 18, if stock is unavailable, or in the case of an obvious pricing error.

5. Payment

Payment is made through the secure methods offered at checkout. Your order is prepared once payment is received.

6. Shipping & delivery

We ship twice a week (Tuesday and Saturday), with age verification (18+) on delivery. Full details — times, costs and how it works — are in our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Right of withdrawal & returns

As a consumer buying online, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, plus specific cover for faulty or corked bottles. The full conditions are set out in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Conformity

Your wine will match its description and meet what you can reasonably expect. Wine is a natural product, so slight variation between vintages is normal and not a defect. If a bottle is genuinely faulty, our Returns & Refunds policy explains your options.

9. Intellectual property

Everything on this site — our name, logo, product descriptions, photography and design — belongs to The Wine Hustle V.O.F. or is used with permission (including our logo, created by the artist who designed it for us). You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written consent.

10. Liability

We do our utmost to describe, pack and deliver your wine well. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any dispute will be handled by the competent Dutch courts. As a consumer, you may also use the EU's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our site at the moment you order is the one that applies.
