Wine is our heart, but no Spanish kitchen is complete without great olive oil. Ours comes from Aceites Miluma, a family producer in Cañete de las Torres, in the olive-covered campiña of Córdoba the second-largest olive oil province in all of Spain. They've been at it since 1986, controlling everything from tree to bottle, farming with respect for the land.
Their oil is 100% Picual, the great Andalusian variety, prized for its character and its remarkable stability. We bring in two: the everyday extra virgin honest, fragrant, endlessly useful and the early-harvest, an intense green oil pressed from the season's first olives for anyone who wants to taste olive oil at its most vivid.
