Jota de To Verdejo Barrica · Bodegas Díez Gómez
A barrel-aged white with rhythm. The Jota range is named after the Jota — the traditional dance of Zamora — and made in French oak (where the Américo range uses Spanish oak). This is Verdejo with ambition: fermented and/or aged in barrel for a richer, more serious white.
100% Verdejo from the family's Toro vines. French oak adds body, a creamy texture and notes of toast and vanilla, layered over Verdejo's stone fruit and herbal freshness. A white for the dinner table, not just the aperitif — one that drinkers who "only like reds" tend to fall for.
Serve at 10–12°C. Pairs with roast fish, poultry, creamy rice, and richer dishes.
